Image API Teams with Sleep in Heavenly Peace to Provide 32 Beds for Children in Tallahassee

• ImageAPI’s company values drove their decision to work with Sleep in Heavenly Peace (SHP) to provide 32 beds to Tallahassee’s children in need.
• SHP is a non-profit that strives to provide children in need with a safe and comfortable place to sleep by coordinating bed and bedding donations.

TALLAHASSEE, Fla., October 24, 2019 – Image API partnered with the Tallahassee chapter of Sleep in Heavenly Peace to build and provide 32 beds to children in need in the community. SHP is a non-profit focused on a mission to provide all children with a warm, safe, and comfortable place to rest and sleep. The non-profit estimates that up to 2.2 million children in the U.S. sleep on the floor every night.

Helping to meet this basic need for children in their community was a mission that spoke to Image API’s team. One of Image API’s core values is centered on building relationships through community and teamwork, and working together to serve Tallahassee’s youngest and most vulnerable was meaningful to the Image API team.

“At Image API, we believe in giving back to our community. That’s why we partnered with Sleep in Heavenly Peace to build 32 beds for local children in need.  After just a few short hours, our muscles ached, we were covered in sawdust, and we were inspired by the mountain of beds that we built,” said Susanne Korta, Director of Customer Success at Image API.

The company routinely works with clients in the surrounding area to reduce paper through digitized documents and processes, but was grateful for the opportunity to extend their participation in the community and honor their values by volunteering with SHP.
